Training Courses.

Along with Fire Training, Commercial and Agency Security Services Ltd also has a training division, which is able to provide a wide range of training courses.  These vary from Conflict Management to Dog Handling.  All our courses are ran by qualified C&G 7302 trainers.  All courses are ran Mon-Fri however weekends can be arranged.

We recognise the critical importance of on going training for all levels of staff and have invested accordingly.  The company employs a full time training officer.  We are able to train your new and existing employees using your own facilities or within our purpose built training room. 

SIA Courses

For all persons to work in the security sector be it a door supervisor or as a security guard, as of March 20^th 2006 they are required by law to have an SIA Licence.  This course will enable you to gain the relevant qualifications to obtain that licence.

This course includes the conflict management course.

Conflict Management Courses. (ASET level 1,2 & 3)

The workplace is ever more violent than before.  With both Physical assaults by members of the public against members of staff and staff to staff.  The governments zero tolerance campaign has been upgraded several times and 18 Months ago it called for the NHS to reduce the number of assaults on staff members by 20%.  This has been achieved with the aid of Conflict Management courses.

Health and Safety Officers admit that there is no easy answer when looking at the issue of violence at work.

Commercial and Agency Security Services Ltd train their own dog section and also run courses for external handlers and their dogs.  All Courses are carried out by a C&G 7302 qualified trainer and certificates are issued on completion of the course.  Courses run for 5 days and both theory and practical elements are involved and will provide an intermediate level of competence.  All courses are ran at our head office in Westbury.  B&B and board kennelling can be arranged and the nearby railway station provides easy access.

	Patrol Dog (Basic Dog Control); General Purpose Security Dog Handlers
	Patrol Arm True (Attack Dog); Specialist
	Crowd Control Dog; Specialist
	Search Dog (Drugs, Arms). Specialist

Cost: 5 day course ASET Level 2 National Award for General Purpose Security Dog Handlers starting from £500 per person

First Aid at Work Courses. (4 Day)

For high and medium risk in the work place.  The course covers a wide range of both life threatening and emergency situations.  The course takes place over a period of four days however we understand that for any person to be away from work for 4 days can be difficult.  For this reason we have arranged the course to be run over two, two day modules i.e. Thur/Fri week 1 and Mon/Tue Week 2 this allows you to still have three days at work during the week.

Cost: £130 per Person

First Aid at Work Re-Qualification. (2 Day)

Re-Qualifies First Aiders who must re-new their certificate prior to it expiring.

Cost: £80 per Person

Appointed Persons. (1 Day)

For medium and lower risk injury environments.  The course provides the basic skills necessary to allow the nominated person to act confidently in the event of an accident.

Cost: £40 per Person

Basic Life Saver. (3 Hours)

For anyone who wants to learn emergency life saving skills.

Cost: £20 per Person
